BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! Click. Odette groaned in exhaustion as she turned off her blaring alarm clock. Slowly, the 16-year old lumbered out of bed. Sure it was a Saturday morning, but she always woke up at 6:00 no matter what. She proceeded to get dressed in a pink t-shirt, faded jeans, and to fix her bouncy, short, blonde hair in a bow to match her top. After a while, she helped herself to a cup of coffee and headed out the door, taking a flimsy white jacket along.
She sauntered into the wooded area nearby the house, and promptly met a familiar dirt path. Every morning, she stepped into the cool indigo air for a brisk walk in the forested trail. It was a part of her lifestyle. Always alone at such an hour but happy, nonetheless. There was something about the calm solitude that reeled her in. She paused at a wooden bench to the side after strolling for a while. Sitting down, she took a light sip of her drink. Odette rolled her head around, taking in all the scenery surrounding her. Trees mainly filled her listless vision, but she also noted the curling ferns and vividly blurry patches of half-bloomed wildflowers. Minutes passed before the girl carefully rested her cup onto the bench. She rested her soft blue eyes, allowing the early dawn's tranquil embrace to lull her to sleep once more.
Snap. The drowsy teen jerked her head up from its position. Startled, she whipped out her phone to check the time. 8:43. With a sigh of relief, she groggily turned to her cold coffee mug. Her heart skipped a beat. Placed in front of the mug lay a small note. Shakily, she unfolded the paper. To her surprise, it simply wrote, "I love you"
Lol I like how you used your art in your presentation. o3o
I know, right? It was a stroke of genius. It made the project a bit less boring as well.
Lol I wouldn't even have thought of it... xD
